IWSN Director Chad Staddon will take part in a session on household water insecurity for World Water Week (WWWeek At Home).
Metropolitan & Household Water Insecurity: Novel Tools for Achieving SDG6 takes place on Wednesday 26 August (13:00-13:45, CEST) and includes six short presentations and an interactive discussion. The objective of the session is to acquaint delegates with cutting-edge and field-friendly tools for measuring and monitoring metropolitan and household water insecurity, and to explore the potential of new tools for supporting implementation of the 2030 Development Agenda for evaluating the impact of programmatic and policy changes.
Chad will present data on relationships between hydrological indicators and household water insecurity as well as a data visualization platform to facilitate Household Water Insecurity Experiences (HWISE) data analysis. Colleagues from Northwestern University and Oxfam will also discuss the HWISE Scale.
