Researchers from the International Water Security Network will be attending a seminar at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) this week, to mark World Water Day 2016.
The International Postgraduate Seminar on ‘Innovative Water Tracing Technology and Management’ takes place at the National Water Center at UAEU on Tuesday 22 March.
Project Director Prof. Chad Staddon will attend, along with two IWSN-funded students. Ola Michalec, a PhD researcher at the University of the West of England, will present on the ‘Water footprint of Bristol: A look into the future.’ Later in the day, MSc student Rob Sarkozi will discuss the Urban Hydrosocial Transition, looking at the case study of Osaka, Japan.
Colleagues from Hohai University and Peking University, both in China, will also be presenting.
