She joined LRQA in 1999 as an EMS Lead Assessor specialising in minerals and waste and, with further cross training, became a Senior Lead Assessor EMS, EnMS & OHSAS. In 2008 she became EMS Technical Manager, providing environmental technical expertise across LRQA UK to ensure consistency in the application of assessment and certification services in environmental and energy management. Starting at British Coal Opencast as a graduate trainee, she progressed to Environmental Planner and then Regional Environmental Manager. She then moved to RMC Aggregates providing expertise in environmental planning and management, before joining LRQA.
