Dr. Hazem Gouda has been invited to attend a key international summit of drainage of sewerage experts in Doha, Qatar in March. This is following from his presentation – on ‘Network efficiency, maintenance and operation’ – as an invited speaker at the International Water Summit in Abu Dhabi in January 2014. Dr. Gouda is programme manager for Environmental Resource Management BSc. at UWE. Water is one of the major constraints for development in the Gulf and he will join other thought leaders in this area in developing plans and exchanging ideas which will form the next generation of water infrastructure across the region and beyond.
