UWE Bristol is currently accepting applications for PhD students under two separate programmes of relevance to students interested in pursuing ‘water and environment’ related studies.
There is a general competition for PhD studentships (tuition paid plus a stipend of approximately £13k/year) with a deadline date for applications of 27 May 2014. Further details can be found here.
There is also a second competitive round for students willing to undertake studies specifically relevant to the ongoing work of the International Water Security Network. Whatever specific subject is agreed, the research must incorporate attention to significant policy dimensions and be orientated towards providing a clear public benefit through research. The student appointed will be expected to play a significant role in interacting with the wider project and contributing to the overall programme of work.
