As part of the celebrations for European Green Capital the world famous artist Luke Jerram (creator of the Park Street Slide and street pianos) has created an art space in Leigh Woods (a small forest close to Bristol). The artwork (called Withdrawn) features a number of fishing boats carefully placed in the woods to trigger discussion on Bristol’s maritime past and the state of the environment.
As part of the exhibition he has interviewed the IWSN’s Dr Tom Appleby on his views on marine management. The interview is available here:
